EXTENDING DEEPEST CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF GINA MARIE BACON | |

1 | WHEREAS, It is with sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Gina Marie |
2 | Bacon, the beloved wife of Steven Bacon for thirty-eight years, and the devoted mother of Kyle |
3 | Bacon and his wife, Autumn, Andrew Bacon and his wife, Stephanie, and the late Jonathan |
4 | Bacon; and |
5 | WHEREAS, Born in the City of Pawtucket, Mrs. Bacon was the daughter of Clara Anjos |
6 | and Arlindo Anjos, and the sister of her late twin brother, David Anjos, and his widowed wife, |
7 | Kathy. She had resided in the Town of Cumberland for many years and was a graduate of |
8 | Cumberland High School; and |
9 | WHEREAS, With a loving personality, Mrs. Bacon created and nurtured a marriage that |
10 | flourished, and a home that was warm and welcoming. She doted on her family, particularly her |
11 | grandchildren Alina and Lucas, who were the light of her life, and her many nieces and nephews; |
12 | and |
13 | WHEREAS, While her children were young, Mrs. Bacon had taught at New England |
14 | Christian Academy and subsequently “found her calling” at Harvest Community Church where |
15 | she diligently worked as a trusted bookkeeper; and |
16 | WHEREAS, As a woman of great faith, Mrs. Bacon was committed to “serving the |
17 | Lord”, “to God’s Word”, to “the ministry”, and devoted to her church. In addition to |
18 | bookkeeping, she was a dedicated Women's Ministry Leader for more than twenty years; and |
19 | WHEREAS, Mrs. Bacon also enjoyed cooking and baking “the most delectable meals |
20 | and sweetest treats” for her family and friends. Her compassionate nature extended to all around |

1 | her, always providing sage advice, a shoulder to cry on, and infectious optimism; and |
2 | WHEREAS, Gina Bacon was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend |
3 | and the most fitting tribute to her beautiful soul is a celebration of her life, and although she will |
4 | be dearly missed, she will always be in the hearts and treasured memories of her family and many |
5 | friends; now, therefore be it |
6 | RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island hereby extends deepest |
7 | sympathy and condolences on the passing of Gina Marie Bacon; and be it further |
8 | RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to |
9 | transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to Steven Bacon, Kyle Bacon and Family, Andrew |
10 | Bacon and Family, and Clara Anjos. |
