It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Section 42-16.1-6 of the General Laws in Chapter 42-16.1 entitled |
2 | "Department of Labor and Training" is hereby amended to read as follows: |
3 | 42-16.1-6. Board of review — Composition. |
4 | There shall be a board of review consisting of three (3) five (5) members. One member |
5 | shall be a representative of labor, one member shall be a representative of industry, one member |
6 | shall be an owner of a small business, as defined in § 44-54-1 and one member two (2) members |
7 | shall be a representative of the public generally. selected from the general public. Not more than |
8 | two (2) three (3) members of the board shall be of the same political party. |
9 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
