EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF PAUL LOZEAU, JR. | |

1 | WHEREAS, It is with deep sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Paul |
2 | Lozeau, Jr., the beloved husband of Kerry Lozeau; and |
3 | WHEREAS, Mr. Lozeau was born in Woonsocket, the son of Paul Lozeau, Sr., and the |
4 | late Mary Ann Cherkas; and |
5 | WHEREAS, Mr. Lozeau was a dedicated public safety worker who served Woonsocket |
6 | with tireless devotion and the utmost integrity as a member of the Woonsocket Fire Department, |
7 | retiring in 2020; and |
8 | WHEREAS, In his free time, Mr. Lozeau enjoyed the great outdoors, fishing, riding his |
9 | Harley, and working on hands-on projects. He also enjoyed listening to “80’s hairbands music”, |
10 | and watching westerns, military and James Bond movies. Most important in Mr. Lozeau’s life |
11 | was always his family, which he put first in his life. He was a devoted husband, father, son and |
12 | sibling; and |
13 | WHEREAS, In addition to his wife, Kerry, Mr. Lozeau leaves behind his children, Paul |
14 | Lozeau, and his wife, Stephanie, Alexandra Lozeau, and Marissa Detwiler and her husband, |
15 | B’Liahl. Mr. Lozeau is also survived by his sister, Paula Samborsky and her husband, Michael; |
16 | now, therefore be it |
17 | RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode hereby expresses its condolences on |
18 | the passing of Paul Lozeau, Jr.; and be it further |

2 | transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Kerry Lozeau and Family. |
