I hereby move to amend (00-S 2696) entitled "AN ACT RELATING TO INSURANCE HEALTH MAINTENANCE ORGANIZATION", as follows:

On page 6, delete lines 12 through 22, and insert in lieu thereof the following language: I::) Whenever the director finds that: (1) the net worth maintained by any health maintenance organization falls below two hundred (200) percent of what is required under section 27-41-13(h)(2), or section 27-41-13(h)(3), whichever is applicable to the health maintenance organization, during any one (1) quarter; the director shall give written notice to the health maintenance organization of the amount of the deficiency and require filing with the director a plan for correction of the deficiency acceptable to the director. The plan of correction shall be filed, within a reasonable time, not to exceed forty-five (4~) days, unless an extension of time is granted by the director.

Cote, formally of Woonsocket before moving to Sun City West in Arizona.
