The Honorable Speaker Harwood and Representatives Naughton, Martineau, Henseler, Menard and several other members of the House introduce (02-H 6603) House Resolution recognizing the Honorable Barbara C. Burlingame (posthumously) for all her contributions to the city of Woonsocket, the town of North Smithfield and the state of Rhode Island. Majority Leader Martineau requests unanimous consent for immediate consideration.

There is no objection. Majority Leader Martineau discusses the Resolution.

Representative Fox introduces (02-H 6604) Joint Resolution extending the reporting date of the legislative commission to study the public purposes to be advanced by the redevelopment of those areas made available by the relocation of Route 195.

Representative Savage, as part of the East Providence delegation, expresses his condolences to the family of Captain Alister McGregor and his sympathy and understanding also goes out to the other people involved in the incident.
