"(m) No law enforcement officer shall use subsection (f) or (g) as the basis for stopping a motor vehicle for other reasons, and no operator of a motor vehicle shall be requested to consent to a search by a law enforcement officer of his or her motor vehicle which is stopped solely for a violation of subsection (f) or (g). Any evidence obtained as a result of a search prohibited by this subsection shall be inadmissible in any judicial proceeding. A person may not be placed under arrest solely for a violation of subsection (f) or (g). Nothing contained herein shall be construed to preclude any search based upon any legally sufficient cause other than consent."
