"45-2-50. EXEMPTION FOR CURRENTLY OPERATING COMPANIES - Any company currently operating within the state of Rhode Island upon the effective date of this act shall be exempt and only from the provisions of sections 45-2-46, 45-2-47 and 45-2-48.

45-2-51. EXPIRATION OF PERMIT. - All permits issued pursuant to sections 45-2-46, 45-2-47 and 45-2-48 shall expire on the last day of each calendar year and shall be renewed unless suspended or revoked pursuant to section 45-2-47 and 45-2-48."
