I hereby move to amend (99-S 528) (Substitute "B" as amended) entitled "AN ACT RELATING TO ESTABLISHING A SHELLFISH TRANSPLANT PROGRAM" as follows: By deleting all of the language following the enactment clause and inserting in place thereof the following language: "SECTION 1. Chapter 20-2 of the General Laws entitled "Licensing" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: SHELLFISH TRANSPLANT PROGRAM. - In addition to any appropriation made pursuant to section 20-2-28.2, the General Assembly shall appropriate from the general fund to the division of fish and wildlife, the amount it deems necessary for the purpose of maintaining a shellfish transplant program for the fiscal year ending Joe 90, 2000, and thereafter, the division of fish and wildlife shall develop a sustainable shellfish management plan. SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
