The Senate meets pursuant to adjournment and is called to order by His Honor, the Lieutenant Governor, Charles J. Fogarty, at 4:09 o'clock P.M.

The roll is called and a quorum is declared present with 47 Senators present and 3 Senators absent as follows:

Hoyas Memorial Scholarship at St. Raphael Academy. Kathy, the sister of the Clerk of the Senate, passed away last fall, but had been employed with the Riker family for the last 12 years.
