STATE OF RHODE ISLAND AND PROVIDENCE PLANTATIONS

STATE HOUSE

March 10, 1999

To the Honorable, the Senate:

This notice is to correct the January 26, 1999 appointment of Randolph Lowman to the Human Rights Commission. Due to a clerical error, the notice appointing Mr. Lowman inadvertantly indicated that he was replacing Ms. Shannon Nash, who had resigned. In fact, Ms. Nash was appointed on October 16, 1997 for a term expiring July 1, 2001 and has not resigned.

The notice should have appointed Mr. Lowman in place of Mr. George Ramsey for a term expiring July 1,2003. Ms. Nash will remain in her position on the commission.

Please make this correction for your files.

Sincerely,

JOSEPH V. POMPOSELLI

Director, Boards & Commissions

Received and ordered to be placed on file.
