HEARING NOTICE: Oversight to take testimony on 2012 election
STATE HOUSE – The House Committee on Oversight will hear from the representatives of several groups on the 2012 election when the committee meets Thursday, February 7.
The hearing will be held in the House Lounge and will begin at the Rise of the House (approximately 5 p.m.).
Rep. Michael J. Marcello (D-dist. 41, Scituate, Cranston), who chairs the committee, said the panel intends to focus its initial attention this session on the 2012 election and problems that were experienced at polling places.
Scheduled to present testimony to the committee are the following organizations: Common Cause, ACLU, NAACP and the League of Women Voters.
