RELATING TO THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET -- ABANDONED MOTOR VEHICLES

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Chapter 31-42 of the General Laws entitled "Abandoned Motor Vehicles" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section:

31-42-12. City of Pawtucket -- Designee. -- In the city of Pawtucket, the police department or its designee shall have the authority to carry out the provisions of this chapter.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
