RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLES -- RESPONSIBILITY OF OWNERS OF RENTAL VEHICLES

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 3 of Chapter 339 of the Public Laws of 1998 entitled "Responsibility of Owners of Rental Vehicles" is hereby amended to read as follows:

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon passage and shall be repealed on June 30, 2004 and shall be repealed two years from the date of passage.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
