RELATING TO THE AIRPORT CORPORATION

It is enacted
by the General Assembly as follows:
SECTION
1. Notwithstanding any provisions in the public or
general laws to the contrary, the Department of Transportation may lease to the
Rhode Island Airport Corporation, the property presently being sublet by the
Potter League for Animals in Middletown for term of fifty (50) years; provided,
further, that the Rhode Island Airport Corporation may continue to sublease the
property to the Potter League for Animals for the fifty (50) year period,
subject to avigational easements acceptable to the Rhode Island Airport
Corporation and approval by the Department of Transportation and the Federal
Aviation Administration.
SECTION
2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
