BENEFITS OF A PERMANENT OVERSIGHT COMMISSION FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF

CORRECTIONS

     RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by Resolution No. 312

passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2002, and effective May 28,

2002, entitled "House Resolution Creating a Special House Commission to Study the Creation

and Benefits of a Permanent Oversight Commission for the Department of Corrections" is hereby

amended by changing thereto the number of representatives from the House Committee on

Health, Education and Welfare from two (2) to one (1) and adding one (1) representative from the

House Committee on Labor.
