A N A C T

RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, and

pursuant to and in accordance with chapter 15-3 of the general laws, entitled “Solemnization of

Marriages” the following persons are hereby authorized and empowered to join the following

persons in marriage:

     Mary Steigelman Samuels may joint Brendan Power and Kristen Carey in marriage with

the state of Rhode Island on or about October 15, 2004; and

     Donald Dragon, Jr. may join Jennifer Nadrowski and Michael Limoges in marriage at a

place within the town of New Shoreham on or about August 6, 2004; and

     Mr. James Ross Jr. of Westchester, New York may join Daniel G. Gale and Jessica J.

Jablowski in marriage at a place within the city of Newport on or about September 5, 2004; and

     The Honorable Stephen P. Laffey may join Judith E. Orodenker and David Blanchard in

marriage at a place within the city of Cranston on or about August 21, 2004; and

     Byron Trefonides, Justice of the Peace, Westport, Massachusetts may join Bruce Shippee

and Joan Tansey in marriage within the town of Little Compton, Rhode Island on or about July 3,

2004; and

     Dr. Evelyn Grollman may join Johanna Schneider and Leland Johnson, Jr. in marriage

within the town of Tiverton, Rhode Island on or about August 21, 2004; and

     Ernest D. Humphreys may join Ashley Erickson Bowen and Jake McFarland Swenson in

marriage at a place within the town of Barrington on or about September 25, 2004; and

     W. Edward Wood may join Meghan Grant and Caleb Aker in marriage at a place within

the town of Hopkinton on or about June 27, 2004; and

     Anthony Silva may join David Silva and Elizabeth Pike in marriage within the town of

Bristol, Rhode Island on or about October 9, 2004; and

     Donald A. Dragon, Jr. may join Laurie S. Dragon and Gregg A. Lessly in marriage at a

place within the town of Narragansett on or about June 6, 2004; and

     Catherine Flanagan-Stover, a Justice of the Peace and Town Clerk of Nantucket,

Massachusetts, may join Gina Vivenzio and Matthew Collins in marriage at a place within the

city of Newport on or about August 28, 2004.

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
