A N A C T

RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary,

Christopher Smith may join Charles Audette of North Kingstown, Rhode Island and Erin Mahan

of North Kingstown, Rhode Island in marriage at a ceremony to be performed in either Bristol or

Providence, Rhode Island on July 9, 2005. Christopher Smith is hereby authorized and

empowered to join the foregoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in accordance with Chapter

15-3 of the general laws, entitled "Solemnization of Marriages."

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
