A N A C T

IN AMENDMENT OF THE ACT, PASSED AT THE JANUARY SESSION, A.D. 1948, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO INCORPORATE THE LIME ROCK FIRE DISTRICT IN THE TOWN OF LINCOLN," AS AMENDED

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Section 10 of the act, passed at the January Session, A.D. 1948, entitled

"An Act to Incorporate the Lime Rock Fire District in the Town of Lincoln, Approved April 22,

1948, as Amended" is hereby further amended to read as follows:

     Sec. 10. The district is authorized to incur indebtedness from time to time to an amount

not to exceed five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) one million dollars ($1,000,000),

outstanding at any one time under its corporate name and seal or a facsimile of such seal.

     SECTION 2. This act shall take full effect upon its acceptance by vote of a majority of

the electors present and voting on the question at an annual or special district meeting.

     SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon passage.
