J O I N T  R E S O L U T I O N

EXTENDING THE REPORTING DATE OF THE SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO STUDY PREDATORY MORTGAGE LENDING PRACTICES

     RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by Resolution No. 155

passed by the Senate at its January session, A.D. 2004, and approved March 25, 2004, entitled "Joint Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Commission to Study Predatory Mortgage Lending Practices" and as amended by Resolution No. 390 passed by the Senate at its January session, A.D. 2005, and approved June 28, 2005, entitled "Joint Resolution Extending the Reporting Date of the Special Legislative Commission to Study Predatory Mortgage Lending Practices" is hereby authorized to continue its study and make a report to the general assembly on or before February 15, 2006, and said commission shall expire on April 1, 2006; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by Resolution No. 155, passed by

the Senate at its January session, A.D. 2004, and approved March 25, 2004, and as amended by Resolution No. 390, passed by the Senate at its January session, A.D. 2005, and approved June 28, 2005, be and the same are hereby rescinded.
