A N A C T

RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGE

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, Ian

William McEleney, formerly of the City of Warwick and currently residing in the State of

Oregon, may join his sister Elizabeth May McEleney, also formerly of the City of Warwick and

now residing in the State of Illinois, and Michael Newton, formerly of the Commonwealth of

Virginia, and currently residing in the State of Illinois, in marriage at a place within the Town of

Lincoln on or about the 19th day of August 2007. Ian William McEleney is hereby authorized and

empowered to join his sister Elizabeth May McEleney and Michael Newton in marriage pursuant

to, and in accordance with, chapter 15-3 of the general laws, entitled "Solemnization of

Marriages."
