A N A C T

IN AMENDMENT OF "AN ACT TO INCORPORATE THE 'TRUSTEES OF THE

METHODIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH IN EAST GREENWICH''' PASSED AT THE JANUARY SESSION 1958

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Section 1 of "An act to incorporate the Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal

Church in East Greenwich’" passed by the June session, 1835, as amended, is hereby further

amended by changing the name of the church to "East Greenwich United Methodist Church", and

as to authorize said corporation to take, have, hold, possess, acquire, transmit and convey real

estate and personal property of every description, not exceeding in amount, in all the sum ten

million dollars ($10,000,000).

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
