H O U S E  R E S O L U T I O N

EXTENDING THE REPORTING DATE OF THE SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO MAKE A COMPREHENSIVE STUDY OF THE EFFECT STATE AND FEDERAL MANDATES HAVE ON THE EDUCATION AND FINANCES OF SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN THE STATE OF RHODE ISLAND

     RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 93

passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2007, and approved March 6,

2007 entitled "HOUSE RESOLUTION CREATING A SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE

COMMISSION TO MAKE A COMPREHENSIVE STUDY OF THE EFFECT STATE AND

FEDERAL MANDATES HAVE ON THE EDUCATION AND FINANCES OF SCHOOL

DISTRICTS IN THE STATE OF RHODE ISLAND" is hereby authorized to continue its study

and make a report to the House of Representatives on or before January 8, 2009, and said

commission shall expire on March 1, 2009; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 93 passed by the

House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2007, and approved March 6, 2007 be and

the same is hereby rescinded.
