S E N A T E  R E S O L U T I O N

REINSTATING THE LIFE OF AND EXTENDING THE REPORTING AND EXPIRATION DATE OF THE SPECIAL SENATE COMMISSION TO UNDERTAKE A COMPREHENSIVE STUDY OF THE PROJECTED NURSING SHORTAGE IN THE STATE OF RHODE ISLAND

     RESOLVED, That the special senate commission created by resolution No. 216 passed

by the General Assembly at its January session, A.D. 2008 and approved May 8, 2008 entitled

“Senate Resolution Creating A Special Senate Commission To Undertake A Comprehensive

Study Of The Projected Nursing Shortage In The State Of Rhode Island” is hereby reinstated and

the same members are hereby reappointed, and it is authorized to continue its study and make a

report to the General Assembly on or before March 31, 2009 and said commission shall expire on

June 30, 2009; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the time for reporting and date of expiration authorized by resolution

216, passed by the General Assembly at its January session, A.D. 2008 be and the same is hereby

rescinded.
