A N A C T

RELATING TO MOTOR AND OTHER VEHICLES -- RETAIL SALE OF GASOLINE

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

 

     SECTION 1. Section 31-37-15 of the General Laws in Chapter 31-37 entitled "Retail

Sale of Gasoline" is hereby repealed.

 

     31-37-15. Aggregate price for fuel and other commodities or services. -- In no

transaction in which a retail dealer may fix or set a single price or charge for the sale of a quantity

of motor fuel, together with some other commodity or service, shall the single price or charge be

less than the aggregate of the charge, in accordance with the posted price, for the motor fuel

involved in the transaction, plus the charge for the other commodity or service when the same is

sold or rendered separately, rather than in combination with the sale of motor fuel.

 

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
