S O L U T I O N
THANKING THE
RHODE
FOR THEIR
CONTINUED SERVICE

WHEREAS,
On March 12, 2010, a group of Rhode Island Veterans’ Home Health Care
Professionals distinguished
themselves by traveling to the country of
care in response to the devastating earthquake; and
WHEREAS, Their volunteer efforts and dedication to thousands of men,
women, and
children in need of medical attention indicated their commitment,
humanity and unselfishness as
Health Care Professionals; and
WHEREAS, Also known as “Team Hope,” these professionals brought
compassion,
friendship, medical expertise, and goodwill to the people of
example of inspiring Rhode Island State Employees who
exemplified outstanding leadership
during an international crisis; and
WHEREAS, The State of
Rhode Island, with a great deal of pride, offers congratulations
to “Team Hope” and its members: Paul Agatiello,
MD, William Camara, RN, Margaret Hugo,
RN, Karen Querceto, RN,
Steve Heilborn, Edna Jean-Louis; Myreille
Dorival and Juanita Price;
and
WHEREAS, The Rhode
Island Veterans’ Home provides extended-stay nursing care to
seniors with varying levels of disabilities in
admiration and acknowledgement; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED,
That the Senate of the State of
recognizes and thanks the Rhode Island Veterans’ Home Health
Care Professionals for their
dedicated work. We wish all the employees best wishes for their
continued success and future
endeavors; and be it further
RESOLVED,
That the Secretary of State be and he hereby is
authorized and directed to
transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to the Rhode
Island Veterans’ Home Medical
Center
