A N A C T
RELATING TO THE
WEST GLOCESTER FIRE DISTRICT

It is enacted by the
General Assembly as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 3 of the act entitled “An act to
incorporate the
district” passed at the January session A.D. 1959, as amended
by an act passed at the January
session A.D. 1960, and as approved on August 7, 2010, is
hereby further amended to read as
follows:
“Sec. 3. The annual meeting of said district shall be held
on the first Saturday in August
third Saturday in June of each year. The first meeting of said district shall be held within
seventy
(70) days
after the passage of this act, in the town of
district, and may be called by any one or more of the
qualified voters of said district. All persons
possessing the qualifications set forth in section 2 of this act
shall be entitled to vote at said
meeting, on the proposition “Shall the
act of incorporation passed by the general assembly of
the state?: If a majority of the persons so
voting shall vote “No” then this act shall become null and
void.”
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
