H O U S E R E S O L U T I O N

RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING THE STATE TRAFFIC COMMISSION TO CONDUCT A TRAFFIC STUDY OF THE TRAFFIC FLOW AND PEDESTRIAN TRAVEL IN THE TOWN OF NORTH PROVIDENCE

     WHEREAS, Concerns have arisen over a potentially dangerous pedestrian crossing

situation on Douglas Avenue, in front of 1155 Douglas Avenue, in the Town of North

Providence; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and

Providence Plantations hereby respectfully requests the state traffic commission to conduct a

traffic study of the traffic flow and pedestrian travel on Douglas Avenue, in front of 1155

Douglas Avenue, in the Town of North Providence forthwith; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and he hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to the Chairman of the State Traffic Commission

and the President of the North Providence Council.
