S E N A T E R E S O L U T I O N

EXTENDING THE REPORTING AND EXPIRATION DATES OF THE SPECIAL

LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO UNDERTAKE A COMPREHENSIVE STUDY OF SEX OFFENDER REGISTRATION AND NOTIFICATION LEGISLATION IN THE STATE OF RHODE ISLAND

     RESOLVED, That the special legislative study commission created by Resolution No.

358, passed by the Senate at its January session, A.D. 2012, and approved June 12, 2012, entitled

“Senate Resolution Creating A Special Legislative Commission To Undertake A Comprehensive

Study Of Sex Offender Registration And Notification Legislation In The State Of Rhode Island

is hereby authorized to continue its study and make a report to the Senate on or before April 2,

2014, and said commission shall expire on July 30, 2014; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by Resolution No. 358 passed by the

Senate at its January session, A.D. 2012, and approved June 12, 2012, be and the same is hereby

rescinded.
