AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET TO EXEMPT FROM TAXATION THE REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY OF ONE THOUSAND AND ONE UNITED, INC.

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

   SECTION 1. The city of Pawtucket may, by ordinance or resolution, provide an

exemption from valuation for taxation any real and personal property owned by One Thousand

and One United, Inc., a Rhode Island nonprofit corporation, which is used by the Revival

Deliverance Edification Center Church for religious purposes.

   SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
