H O U S E   R E S O L U T I O N

EXTENDING THE REPORTING AND EXPIRATION DATES AND AMENDING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO STUDY THE REQUIREMENTS AND FEASIBILITY OF IMPLEMENTING APPRENTICESHIP PREREQUISITES FOR PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTS

RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by H 7623 Substitute A As

Amended, passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2014, and

approved June 18, 2014, entitled "House Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Commission

To Study the Requirements and Feasibility of Implementing Apprenticeship Prerequisites for

Public Works Contracts" is hereby authorized to continue its study and make a report to the

House of Representatives on or before July 1, 2015, and said commission shall expire on

September 1, 2015, and be it further

RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by H 7623 Substitute A As

Amended, passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2014, and

approved June 18, 2014, be and the same is hereby rescinded; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the composition of said house commission is hereby amended by

increasing the membership to twelve (12) members, by adding two (2) new members to be

appointed by the Speaker of the House, and one new member to be appointed by the Minority

Leader of the House.
