It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any provisions in Title 30, entitled, "Military Affairs and Defense", the Town of Westerly is hereby permitted to purchase the real property known as the Westerly National Guard Armory from the State of Rhode Island for the sum of one dollar ($1.00).

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
