AN ACT RELATING TO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES -- LICENSES

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows

SECTION 1. Chapter 3-7 of the General Laws entitled "Retail Licenses" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section:

{ADD 3-7-3.1. Class AT license. -- ADD} {ADD One (1) retailer's license, Class AT, may be issued within the state, by the local licensing authority of the city of Warwick to one (1) person which person shall be a lessee of retail space at the state airport found within the city of Warwick and such license shall authorize the holder thereof to keep for sale and to sell at retail at the place therein described beverages produced in this state and to deliver the same at room temperature in a sealed package or container, which package or container shall not be opened nor its contents consumed on the premises where sold. The person to whom the license shall be issued shall pay to the city of Warwick an annual fee of one hundred dollars ($100) for the license. The license shall expire one (1) year from its date. No further license shall be required or tax levied by the city for the privilege of selling such beverages pursuant to a license issued under this section. ADD}

{ADD The license shall be limited to the same days and hours of operation as the holder of a Class A license within the city of Warwick. ADD}

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
