It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 16-60-10 of the General Laws in Chapter 16-60 entitled "BOARD OF REGENTS FOR ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION" is hereby amended to read as follows:

{DEL 16-60-10. Exemption from provisions of administrative procedures act. DEL}-- {ADD 16-60-10. Applicability of administrative procedures act. -- ADD} The provisions of the Administrative Procedures Act, {ADD sections 42-35-1 through 42-35-8, inclusive, of ADD} chapter 35 of title 42, shall {DEL not DEL} apply to this chapter.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
