It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 34-28 of the General Laws entitled "MECHANICS' LIENS" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section:
{ADD 34-28-3.1. Materials to include rental or lease of any equipment. -- ADD} {ADD In addition to any meaning given through judicial interpretation or context, the term "material" or "materials", when used in this chapter shall also include the rental or lease of any equipment. ADD}
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
