H O U S E   R E S O L U T I O N

REQUESTING THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT TO CLOSE THE HOMEVEST/DRY BRIDGE LANDFILL IN NORTH KINGSTOWN, RHODE ISLAND, UNTIL ALL VIOLATIONS HAVE BEEN ADDRESSED

RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations hereby requesting that the Department of Environmental Management close the Homevest/Dry Bridge Landfill in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, until all violations have been corrected according to federal, state and local statutes and ordinances; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and he hereby is authorized and directed to transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to the Director of the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management.
