H O U S E   R E S O L U T I O N

RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING THAT NYNEX INSTALL PAY TELEPHONES AT MCGINN AND SIGNAL ROCK PARKS

WHEREAS, There are currently no pay telephones at McGinn and Signal Rock Parks. This creates a number of potentially problematic situations, including the inability of the many youngsters who make use of the recreational facilities at these locations to contact family or friends in cases of emergency; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations hereby respectfully requests that NYNEX install pay telephones at McGinn and Signal Rock Parks; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and he hereby is authorized and directed to transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to the Executive Office of NYNEX located at 234 Washington Street, Providence, Rhode Island 02903.
