J O I N T   R E S O L U T I O N

EXTENDING THE REPORTING DATE OF THE SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO STUDY THE QUALIFICATIONS AND FIRING POSITIONS OF LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS

RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 163 passed by the general assembly at its January session, A.D. 1996, and effective June 5, 1996, entitled "Joint Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Commission To Study The Qualifications and Firing Positions Of Law Enforcement Officers" is hereby authorized to continue its study and make a report to the general assembly on or before April 15, 1997, and said commission shall expire on June 15, 1997; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 163 passed by the general assembly at its January session, A.D. 1996, and effective June 5, 1996 be and the same is hereby rescinded.
