J O I N T   R E S O L U T I O N

EXTENDING THE REPORTING DATE OF THE SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO INVESTIGATE AND PROPOSE A COMPREHENSIVE SOLUTION TO THE INABILITY OF LOW INCOME AND WORKING POOR FAMILIES TO PAY THEIR ENERGY BILLS

RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 161 passed by the general assembly at its January session, A.D. 1995, and effective May 30, 1995 entitled "Joint Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Commission to Investigate and Propose a Comprehensive Solution to the Inability of Low Income and Working Poor Families to Pay their Energy Bills" and as amended by resolution to No. 167 passed by the general assembly at its January session, A.D. 1996, and approved June 20, 1996, entitled "Joint Resolution Extending the Reporting Date of the Special Legislative Commission to Investigate and Propose a Comprehensive Solution to the Inability of Low Income and Working Poor Families to Pay their Energy Bills" is hereby authorized to continue its study and make a report to the general assembly on or before January 28, 1998, and said commission shall expire on March 28, 1998; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 161 passed by the general assembly at its January session, A.D. 1995, and effective May 30, 1995 and as amended by resolution No. 167, passed the general assembly at its January session, A.D. 1996, and approved June 20, 1996, be and the same are hereby rescinded.
