J O I N T  R E S O L U T I O N

EXTENDING THE REPORTING DATE OF THE SPECIAL LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION TO STUDY THE FINANCIAL EFFECTS OF STATE MANDATES ON CITIES AND TOWNS

RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 193 passed by the general assembly at its January session, A.D. 1996 and effective July 31, 1996 entitled "Joint Resolution Creating A Special Legislative Commission To Study The Financial Effect Of State Mandates On Cities and Towns" is hereby authorized to continue its study and make a report to the general assembly on or before January 20, 1998, and said commission shall expire on March 20, 1998; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 193 passed by the general assembly at its January session, A.D. 1996, and effective July 31, 1996, be and the same is hereby rescinded.
