It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 31-26-8 of the General Laws in Chapter 31-26 entitled "Accidents and Accident Reports" is hereby amended to read as follows:
31-26-8. Reports by owner when driver incapable. --
Whenever the driver is physically incapable of making a written
report of an accident as required in section 31-26-6 and the driver
is not the owner of the vehicle, then the owner of the vehicle
involved in the accident shall within {DEL ten (10) DEL}
{ADD twenty one (21) ADD} days after learning of the accident make
the report not made by the driver.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
