RELATING TO TAXATION -- GATEWAYS TO CHANGE, INC.

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. All the real, mixed, and personal property of Gateways to Change, Inc., in the town of Johnston, a nonprofit corporation with tax exempt status pursuant to Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of the United States and sales tax exemption for the State of Rhode Island, shall be exempt from state and local taxation so long as said property shall be used for the purposes for which said corporation was incorporated.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
