MAKING AN APPROPRIATION OF $5,000 TO LAURA A. HOXSIE

Introduced By:  Senators Breene and Gibbs Date Introduced:  February 8, 2000

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. The sum of five thousand dollars ($5,000) is hereby appropriated out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated to grant Laura A. Hoxsie, former employee at Ladd School and state forestry division, a retirement pension from July 1, 2000 to June 30, 2002 of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) yearly; and the state controller is hereby authorized and directed to draw his orders upon the general treasurer for the payment of such sum or so much thereof as may be required from time to time upon receipt by him of properly authenticated vouchers.

SECTION 2. In the event of the death of said Laura A. Hoxsie, entitled to receive benefits in accordance with the provision of this act, any remaining amount of said benefits shall revert back to the general fund of the state.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon passage.
