EXEMPTING FROM TAXATION THE REAL, MIXED AND PERSONAL PROPERTY OF THE PRESERVATION SOCIETY OF PAWTUCKET

Introduced By:  Representatives M. Anderson, Vieira, Cicilline, San Bento and Dennigan Date Introduced:   June 15, 2000

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. All the real, mixed and personal property located at 67 Park Place, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, owned by the Preservation Society of Pawtucket, which was incorporated on September 19, 1978 as a non-profit corporation, shall be exempt from state and local taxation so long as said property shall be used for the purposes for which said corporation was incorporated.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
