EXTENDING THE REPORTING DATE OF THE SPECIAL HOUSE COMMISSION TO DEVELOP AND COORDINATE A COLLABORATIVE EFFORT TO FORMULATE A RESTORATION PLAN FOR THE NORTH CAPE BARGE OIL SPILL

RESOLVED, That a special House commission created by resolution No. 187 passed by the House Representatives at its January session, A.D. 1999, and approved May 5, 1999 entitled "House Resolution Creating A Special House Commission To Develop And Coordinate A Collaborative Effort To Formulate A Restoration Plan For The North Cape Barge Oil Spill" is hereby authorized to continue its study and make a report to the House of Representatives on or before May 5, 2001 and said commission shall expire on July 5, 2001; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the time for reporting and date of expiration authorized by resolution No. 187, passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 1999, and approved May 5, 1999, be and the same is hereby rescinded.
