RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING THE GOVERNOR TO CONTRACT WITH RISD TO RECONDITION STATE HOUSE PORTRAITS

RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations hereby respectfully requests Governor Lincoln C. Almond to contract with RISD to assess the condition of the State House portraits and to provide an estimate of repair, reconditioning, and the cost to replace name plaques where none currently exists; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the cost of this contract shall not exceed two thousand dollars ($2,000); and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and he hereby is authorized and directed to transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Governor Lincoln C. Almond.
