H  O  U  S  E     R  E  S  O  L  U  T  I  O  N

REINSTATING THE LIFE OF AND EXTENDING THE REPORTING AND EXPIRATION DATES OF THE SPECIAL HOUSE COMMISSION TO STUDY THE PRESENT METHODS OF INCARCERATION FOR CRIMINALS AND TO MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS THEREFOR

RESOLVED, That the special house commission created by resolution No. 392 passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 1997, effective June 25, 1997 entitled "House Resolution Creating a Special House Commission to Study the Present Methods of Incarceration for Criminals and to Make Recommendations Therefor" is hereby reinstated and the same members are hereby reappointed, and it is authorized to continue its study and make a report to the House of Representatives on or before June 22, 2002; and said commission shall expire on August 22, 2002; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the time for reporting and date of expiration authorized by resolution No. 392, passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 1997, and effective June 25, 1997 be and the same is hereby rescinded.
