RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING THE DEPARTMENT OF ATTORNEY GENERAL TO SUBMIT A STUDY REPORT EXAMINING THE STATUS OF THE STATE'S WITNESS PROTECTION PROGRAM

RESOLVED, that this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations hereby respectfully requests that the Department of Attorney General submit a study report on or before January 1, 2001, detailing the status of the State's Witness Protection Program, including but not limited to outlining evaluations of the State's program, budget concerns and any recommendations of change needed to address issues of concern.

RESOLVED, That the said report shall be submitted to the general assembly by January 25, 2001.
