RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, Senator John Thomas O'Connell, a California State Senator, representing the 18th district, may join Hillary Anne Andrews and Geoffrey Alan Weg in marriage at a place within the city of Newport on July 7, 2001. California State Senator John Thomas O'Connell of district 18, is hereby authorized and empowered to join the foregoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in accordance with chapter 15-3 of the general laws, entitled "Solemnization of Marriages."

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
