RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, Senator Jack O'Connell, a California State Senator, may join Hillary Andrews and Geoff Weg in marriage at a place within the city of Newport on July 7, 2001. California State Senator Jack O'Connell is hereby authorized and empowered to join the foregoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in accordance with chapter 15-3 of the general laws, entitled "Solemnization of Marriages."

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
