RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, James E. Webb, a Deputy Clerk of the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island, may join Christopher T. Casali and Meribah Dean in marriage at a place within the city of Providence on or about December 9, 2001. James E. Webb is hereby authorized and empowered to join the foregoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in accordance with chapter 15-3 of the general laws, entitled "Solemnization of Marriages."

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
